			OUR COMPANY

Wade Nickerson, once a lobster fisherman in Nova Scotia, took it upon himself to establish Yarmouth Bar Fisheries Limited nearly 2 decades ago.

Yarmouth Bar Fisheries started out as a small fresh fillet and lobster company supplying fresh seafood to local stores and a few other companies within Canada. Over time Yarmouth Bar Fisheries grew to be the successful seafood exporting company that it is today. At present Wade has ties to companies across the globe, exporting and importing lobster, swordfish, and other species of fresh and frozen seafood.

This highly successful seafood exporting business can be found on the Southern most coast of Nova Scotia in the small fishing community of Yarmouth. Since Yarmouth Bar Fisheries Limited is a family business, Wade works along side his wife Venie, and his daughter and son-in-law. As well, wade employs as many as 20 other experienced employees at any given time.

In the Fall of 2000 Wade constructed a new lobster pound under the name of SEAKIST LOBSTER LIMITED. Please check back in the near future for pictures of this new facility in action.
